ReplyDeleteBuildings under 120 sq ft do not require permits, but this Barn passed through Elk Grove building department with no problems.
Requirements were that the Barn be "set back" 5 feet from the side property line and 5 feet from the back property line. The 15'10" height was allowable.
In this case teh 14 foot width gave us generous headroom in the loft and that added 140 sq ft of useable space to the Loft area.
